A 3.5lb (TC) casting rod designed for precise and consistent casts to long-range targets: the extra foot of length offers a significant advantage in terms of casting trajectory and line retrieval speed in open water.
The 13ft Covert rod is the casting model in the standard Covert range, with a 3.5lb TC for the extra power needed to accurately cast leads and rigs to long-range targets. The extra foot of length compared to the 12ft version offers a significant advantage in terms of casting trajectory and line retrieval speed, making it the ideal choice for open water fishing with obstacles in the margins and in gravel pit fishing with PVA bags. Where distance is a fundamental requirement, the Covert Rod 13ft is the definitive answer.

Powerful, progressive action, suitable for long-distance casting.
3.5lb TC. 3k matte carbon finish. Matte black reel seat.
50mm butt ring. Anti-frap ceramic guides.
Full EVA handle. Glossy black whippings. American Tackle Vortex Air guides.

13ft length. Lightweight construction.
