Bait Floss

Gardner Bait Floss has a flat profile and virtually zero stretch.

This combination of characteristics is essential in a good bait line, as it ensures that the line will adhere to the smooth, hard air-dried hook baits and not "give" on impact. If the line is elastic, it may otherwise allow the meticulously prepared, rolled and dried perfectly spherical hook bait to pop out of the ring!

The wax coating on the line allows anglers to tie knots without any problems and helps to “smear” the cut ends of the knot. This burning back of the tags also seals the knot and again this helps to keep the hook bait firmly in place so you can be sure that this critical aspect of your presentation is perfect.

Gently heat the wire by licking the edge of a flame around it after tying the hook bait (try to do this without burning the pop up!). This makes the wire slightly transparent and shrinks the material, holding the loop in place.
