The Basia 45 scw QD is a high-quality carp fishing reel, featuring some of Daiwa's most advanced technologies. The body is made of Zaion, the super-composite carbon-based material, extremely responsive, durable, and with performance similar to or superior to metal: for the same volume, it weighs 50% less than aluminum.

The Basia also guarantees great performance in long-distance casting, thanks to the 45 mm Log Cast aluminum spool: the special profile reduces friction with the line as it emerges. The special Slow Cross Wrap spooling system with crossed coils ensures better line collection compared to traditional systems, positively impacting both the cast and the line recovery phase, minimizing the possibility of problems such as tangles or backlashes.

The Basia is equipped with Quick Drag (QD): a technology that provides great safety to the angler, as it allows you to switch from open drag to the right brake in a very short time.
