All anglers know the effectiveness of the bloodworm: practically every fish has encountered one and fed on it, instinctively recognizing it as a food source.


We've taken the humble bloodworm and improved it by freeze-drying it to concentrate and intensify its flavor and aroma. The dried bloodworm is then added to a blend of fishmeal, crushed pellets, and other proteins, including dried blood, to form a groundbait that can be used in a cage feeder, a Method Feeder, or simply in pellets. Perfect for all river fish species, including bream, carp, roach, and F1 fish.

Mixing instructions

Bloodworm fishmeal is easy to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 2-pint maggot tub with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly, then let it sit for 30 minutes; during this time, the water will absorb into the groundbait. For best results, pass the groundbait through a sieve to remove any lumps and create a uniform consistency; it's ready to use.

When fishing, sun and wind can dry out your groundbait slightly; to avoid this problem, you can cover your mixed groundbait with a damp cloth or, if it dries out, add a little water and mix again.

Bloodworm Fishmeal groundbait is part of a wider range that includes hook baits, feed pellets, pastes and liquids, all of which can be used alone or in combination with other baits.
