Covert C-lok Flexi Ring Swivels

Covert C-Lok Flexi-Ring Swivels are an extremely versatile quick change component that can be incorporated into almost any quick change hook rig or helicopter lead to allow you to change ring terminals very quickly and easily.

We recommend lining the C-Lok hook with a piece of heat shrink tubing to ensure the hook is held securely in place. The C-Lok Flexi Ring swivel fits most hooks, size 6 and larger.

If you are using the C-Lok Flexi Ring Swivel on a ‘helicopter style’ lead to allow for quick changes of ring terminals, you will find that the addition of the Flexi Ring really helps to achieve a consistent, tangle-free presentation.

When installing ringed leaders on a C-Lok Swivel, we again recommend threading the hook sleeve to securely lock the leader in place, but this time we recommend using a Covert Anti-Tangle Sleeve. Our experience with Helicopter rigs is that they work best with the smallest possible sleeve on the lead end, so we suggest using a Short Anti-Tangle Sleeve or a standard one shortened so that it only secures the leader. If you use a longer Anti-Tangle Sleeve, it will touch the main line end, increasing friction and causing tangles.
