Covert Hook Swivels

Gardner Covert Hook Swivels are ideal for rigging baits and work superbly as they offer controlled 360° movement of the bait.

Baits can be mounted by sliding them down the shank of the hook, on a “D” rig or on the pre-formed D of a Covert Pop Up Hook Aligner.

Rigging the bait this way ensures that the hook and bait can rotate freely, and this freedom of movement ensures that the hook is free to react quickly, which makes most hooking arrangements more effective as the hook can spin and turn faster, stinging and therefore taking a secure hold of the hook more efficiently.

The anti-reflective black finish reduces visibility underwater.

These swivels can also be used as size 20 all-purpose swivels.

These swivels fit the Micro Barb on Covert Dark hooks.

To be used in conjunction with Covert Hook Stops when sliding on the shank.
