Covert Tungsten Ronnie Sleeves

The internal features allow the sleeve to sit neatly on the top half of the swivel, keeping everything flush and tidy, without inhibiting the essential rotational motion of the hook.

They are available in two weight options: the standard sleeve, which is 'unweighted', and the 'heavy' version, which offers the angler the advantage of being a neat counterweight for use with high-buoyancy baits.

The 'standard' Ronnie sleeve is perfect for use with the extremely popular and effective Ronnie pop-ups that require minimal balance, i.e., shop-bought 12mm hookbaits that largely 'balance' under the weight of the hook. This unweighted version is also ideal for the swivel sleeve on "German"-style rigs with balanced bottom baits, such as wafters, Snowman Balanced Tigers, etc.

The "heavy version" is specifically designed for use with custom, high-buoyancy hookbaits, such as cork-ball pop-ups. These sleeves are also fantastic as a counterweight for rigid zip-tie rigs and bare chods, if you prefer a rigid hook link on the swivel rather than incorporating a ring zip.

The sleeves are simple to use. Simply slide them securely onto the swivel, securing the hook link and balancing the hook bait without the need for heat shrink tubing. This makes hook changes quick and easy.

These "Ronnie Sleeves" are made from a tungsten polymer compound.

The sleeves are 12mm x 4.1mm.

8 sleeves per pack. These sleeves are ideal for use on most hooks between size 2 and size 6.

Also available in a short/stubby 'Hinge' bead, for use on rigid hinged rigs and chod rigs, which can benefit from additional movement to improve hook setting efficiency.
