Hard Ball Bait Saver

Gardner 'Hard Ball' Bait Saver is a large diameter super-shrink tube for wrapping hook baits around the hook and protecting them from bait-stealing crayfish, crabs and crab mite.

The Hard Ball tube is quick and easy to use:

Select the right size tube to fit the boilie you are using.

Cut the tube to the same width as the bait – the open ends allow the flavor to release.

Ironing the tube over the boiling kettle (be careful not to burn yourself): use a bait needle.

Mount the Hard Ball hook bait on the hair by piercing the tube for a stronger hold.
