Fishing distance measuring system complete with a 5m (16ft) cord where two sliding length markers have been inserted for intermediate precision measurements. Using the system is very simple, plant the stakes in the ground keeping the cord stretched out then wrap the main line around them after having stopped the hook or feeder on one of the two. The distance is calculated based on the turns made.
