The Sirio is silky soft and makes casting even the lightest floats easy, yet it boasts a very high breaking strength, both linear and knot. It can be used in both fresh and saltwater, thanks to the innovative anti-salt treatment that extends its life. As with all saltwater lines, we recommend rinsing the reel spool with fresh water after each fishing session.
