This reel is uniquely sized, designed for multiple fishing techniques, including surfcasting, beach lighering, bottom fishing, feeder fishing, and carp fishing. The tapered aluminum spool reduces the size of the coils during casting, thereby reducing friction between the coil and the first guide, effectively increasing casting distance. The anti-twist, anti-corrosion line roller is perfect for both nylon and braided lines, significantly reducing line damage due to twisting. Ideal for both surfcasting and feeder fishing, thanks to the included match spool, and for carp fishing and bottom fishing, thanks to the optional deep spool. The quick-drag clutch system allows you to open and close the clutch with just a half-turn of the knob.
