OVERNIGHTER YARD STICKS

The Overnighter Yard Sticks are an improved version of our popular Yard Sticks which now have a glow-in-the-dark top and are black in colour. The Sticks come with 3.5m of string so you can stick them into the ground at the right distance. They also have three different coloured clips so you can mark the distance you need very accurately. The Sticks have a unique curved design which means you can use them without moving, just stand still in the centre and wrap your line around them. STEP 1. Once you have found a good area with your marker rod “clip-pa” your line onto your reel.

STEP 2. Retrieve the line to the end.

STEP 3. Insert the pegs into the ground and space them 3.6 meters apart with the rope.

STEP 4. Making sure the curves of the pegs are facing each other and wrap the leadcore or lead core around a peg and leave the lead on the ground.

STEP 5. Standing between the two pegs, begin to wrap the wire around both pegs, counting the number of wraps needed to reach the clip.

STEP 6. Once you reach the clip, mark the number of wraps and insert one of the coloured clips provided so that you have marked everything precisely.

Once you have done everything, just repeat the process with the other rods including the Spod one. This very easy method is the most precise and simple that will ensure you a super precise fishing and a perfect cast every single time.
