Small pieces can be cut and trimmed for use on Zig Rigs or to balance hooks and baits, create pop-ups etc.
Another very popular application of this foam is balancing dead baits when fishing for pike or catfish. Simply adding a piece of Red Pop-Up foam adds both buoyancy (to aid presentation) and color to stimulate the predatory instincts of pike.
Many experienced European surf anglers use small 1cm pieces to add buoyancy and natural movement to their baits, calling this a "Hunter Rig". Available sizes and types:
