Reel Darkside 5000 – Reel

For a long time, surfcasting, feeder, carp, and bottom fishing anglers have been asking for a reel with a 7000 size spool but with the body and weight of a 5000 size reel, and now it's finally possible. The new Darkside is extremely lightweight and has an oversized spool capable of casting further than reels of its size. The super-compact body allows for zero play in the gears, and thanks to the shielded steel bearings, retrieve is smooth. The twist-proof, corrosion-resistant line roller is designed for use with both nylon and braided lines and drastically reduces line damage due to twisting. The new spool oscillation system ensures perfect spooling, eliminating the risk of backlash during casting. The micrometric clutch allows for perfect adjustment to the line's breaking load.
