BCR Rigga Hooks are the perfect beak point Chod/Stiff/Multi/D-rig hook pattern. The gently wide beak point ensures the hook can penetrate effectively, so more ‘picks’ are converted into fish in the net.

BCR hooks feature a delightfully long, tapered and gently wide beaked hook point, which has a fantastic chemically etched razor sharp point. The beaked point profile has retained the basic mechanical benefits of improved penetration through a positive drawer angle and therefore a positive catch effect once buried, providing a truly secure hook hold.

The pattern is also incredibly strong, having been crafted from premium, extra strong, forged and double tempered high carbon steel, meaning they are ‘man enough’ for the most demanding carp fishing situations. We have also taken the opportunity to introduce a larger diameter eye simply to make this hook easy to use for anglers who prefer knotless knots rather than complex knots such as Snell or Domhoff. The larger eyes make it easier to pass stiffer, larger diameter hooklength materials, such as Tripwire, through twice and still allow the tag to be inserted to form a ‘D’.

Finally, the angle of the box is dictated by the direction the hook point is facing – and in the case of the BCR this has been optimised by tailoring the shank length and eye angle so that the hook sinks deeply, quickly and securely when a fish is hooked. Indeed, results in testing have shown that they offer excellent hook holds and have been perfect when used on all manner of Chod, D-Rig and Hinged Stiff style presentations.
