The Mivardi Base Camp Xtreme XXL bivvy is an ideal solution for staying by the water in any conditions. Its pulsating heart is the new M-TEX415 fabric with a unique cracked effect weave. This material offers the legendary strength and durability that characterize Mivardi bivvy fabrics, while also providing a significantly improved water column of 15,000 mm and reduced weight, a key advantage for a bivvy of this size. All seams are sealed using the FST (Flexible Seam Taping) system. Wide, flexible tapes adhere perfectly to the fabric and reliably seal every seam, even at very low or very high temperatures. The construction and technical details have been perfected down to the last detail. Despite its generous dimensions, the bivvy is quick and easy to set up. And it offers much more than just extra space, a door, and windows. Its pulsating heart is an exceptionally stable frame with double vertical poles, connected by spreader poles with robust clips at the ends. These significantly reinforce the structure and reduce pole deflection. Two of the support poles are equipped with practical Velcro rod holders. All main frame sections are telescopic and feature a reliable locking system for quick and secure adjustment. The telescopic design also ensures a small packed size and makes setup and takedown quick and convenient. In extreme conditions, stability can be further increased by using four guy ropes. Both setting up and taking down the shelter can be easily managed by one person. The front wall features an opening entrance panel with a large window, supplied with a mosquito net, transparent PVC, and a windproof nylon panel. The robust zippers have ergonomic pullers for quick, one or two-finger operation. The pullers are made of photoluminescent material and glow in the dark after exposure to light. The letterbox-style front panel can be opened to the side and rolled up in the traditional way, or partially unzipped to allow for progressive opening from top to bottom. At the front of the shelter, there is a large porch/canopy with its own fiberglass structure. Once assembled, it is supported by two vertical poles and secured with guy ropes. The sunshade can be fully folded along the front wall of the shelter, so there's no need to dismantle it every time. A special hook-and-loop system between the sunshade and the shelter effectively prevents water stagnation on the roof, even during heavy rain. The rear and side walls feature large opening windows with nylon covers and mosquito nets, offering a micro-ventilation function. All three of these letterbox-style panels can be partially opened or completely removed. As an alternative to these panels, special sleeves from the Mivardi bivvy connection kit (available separately) can be used. These allow you to easily connect one, two, or three bivvies or umbrellas of any size to the Base Camp Xtreme XXL shelter. The connection sleeve securely wraps around the connected bivvy and protects the joint from rain and wind. Optional accessories include a set of four internal hanging organizers or a heavy-duty groundsheet. The bivvy comes standard in a generously sized carry bag for easy storage and transport. This waterproof and washable 600D nylon bag is designed for intensive use.
