Shelter Base Camp XXL

The Mivardi Base Camp XXL is an extra-large, robust, and perfectly stable shelter, refined down to the last detail, yet quick and easy to set up. However, it offers much more than generous space, doors, and windows. Its core is an exceptionally stable frame with double support poles connected by tension rods featuring sturdy clips at both ends. These significantly strengthen the structure and reduce pole bending. Two of these tension rods are equipped with practical rod holders with Velcro straps. All sections of the main frame are telescopic and equipped with a reliable system for easy adjustment. The telescopic parts also allow for compact transport and ensure quick and convenient assembly and disassembly of the cover. In extreme conditions, stability can be further increased using four guy ropes. The shelter can be easily set up or compacted by a single person. The M-TEC300 outer material, with a hexagonal texture and mechanical characteristics, offers increased durability and, starting with the 2026 model year, a 10,000 mm water column. The rear wall features a large window with a mosquito net and a nylon cover, which provides micro-ventilation using the tension bar at the bottom of the window. The front wall consists of an entrance panel with a large window equipped with a mosquito net, clear PVC, and a nylon cover. The letterbox-style front panel can be opened from the sides and rolled up as standard, or partially unzipped and opened gradually from top to bottom. At the front of the shelter is a large canopy with its own fiberglass structure. When unfolded, it is supported by two poles and secured with guy ropes. The canopy can be completely folded along the front wall of the shelter, without having to be dismantled each time. Its specially designed connection to the main shelter effectively prevents water from forming on the roof, even during heavy rains. The side walls of the shelter feature large open windows with nylon covers and mosquito netting, also providing micro-ventilation. The letterbox-style side panels can also be partially opened or completely removed. A unique and innovative feature of the Mivardi Base Camp is the bivvy connection kit, available separately. This consists of two universal side cuffs that can be attached to the Base Camp shelter in place of the removed side panels. These cuffs allow you to easily connect almost any bivvy or brolly to the Base Camp shelter. Other accessories available separately include a set of four internal hanging organizers or a sturdy base plate. The shelter comes in a carry bag large enough to easily stow away. This 600D nylon bag is waterproof, washable, and extremely durable.
