Supercrush Green

It's made by crumbling green koi pellets until they reach a fine, uniform consistency. Thanks to its fine particle size, it can be mixed to a fairly sticky consistency, perfect for Method Feeders but easily disintegrating. Alternatively, it can be mixed to a slightly drier consistency, creating the perfect feed for skimmers, F1 feeders, or in shallow water, as it creates a finely distributed groundbait that fish will settle on and feed on without becoming overcrowded. It's suitable for all river fish species, but has gained a particularly large following among bream anglers.

Dai Gribble (specialist angler) says: "Supercrush Green is the best groundbait for bream, it forms the basis of my mix due to its strong fishy smell and the perfect color to attract large bream. I mix it with crushed worms and fish it with a feeder, often adding the same mix on top to create a large amount of bait for the bream to feed on.

Mixing instructions

Supercrush Green is easy to mix. Empty the 2kg bag of groundbait into a round bucket, fill a 2-pint maggot tray with water, pour it over the groundbait and mix thoroughly. Let it sit for 30 minutes; during this time, the water will absorb into the groundbait. For best results, pass the groundbait through a sieve to remove any lumps and create a uniform consistency.

When fishing, sun and wind can dry out your groundbait slightly; to avoid this problem, you can cover your mixed groundbait with a damp towel or, if necessary, if it dries out, simply add a little water and mix again.
