Experience the impressive performance of the new Rhino VX35 V2! This motor stands out for its combination of efficiency and ease of use. Weighing just 6.5 kilograms, it is particularly lightweight, quiet, yet powerful, delivering 35 pounds of thrust at a maximum of 430 watts. It is ideal for small to medium-sized boats such as float tubes, inflatable boats, canoes, rowing boats, and fishing boats. Optimized energy consumption ensures longer operating times with the same battery capacity. The telescopic tiller allows for easy control with the new 5/3 gearbox, which offers five forward and three reverse gears. The motor can be folded in at the touch of a button, and the propeller immersion depth and steering pressure are continuously adjustable. The new charge control display provides clear status information and makes it easy to monitor the charge level. This motor is saltwater-proof and therefore also suitable for occasional use in saltwater. Thanks to the robust design with stainless steel shaft, the Rhino VX35 V2 is a reliable companion for all anglers and pleasure boat captains.
MOTOR WARNING: Risk of electric shock or fire. Make sure all power cables are properly insulated and securely connected. Avoid contact with water during charging or maintenance. Always disconnect the power before performing maintenance on the motor.
SAFETY AND HANDLING PRECAUTIONS: Always wear a life jacket when using the motor. Disconnect the battery connection before assembling, installing, or disassembling the motor to avoid accidental activation. The propellers and mounting parts can be sharp; wear protective gloves when handling them. The traction battery must be placed in a well-ventilated area to prevent overheating and ensure its stability, making sure it cannot tip over. Avoid covering the battery terminals with conductive materials to prevent the risk of short circuits.
MAINTENANCE AND PERFORMANCE: Clean the motor regularly after each use, especially around the propeller, to maintain optimal performance. Lubricate the mount and column every two weeks. Store the motor in a dry, ventilated area to avoid damage to internal components.
TEMPERATURE AND OVERLOAD PROTECTION: The motor includes protection against overheating and high output current. Do not operate the motor in freezing temperatures or above 40°C to avoid damage to the internal battery and motor components.
SAFETY DURING OPERATION: Make sure the handle is in the "OFF" position before connecting the motor to the battery. Monitor the battery voltage and motor performance for irregularities such as excessive noise or vibration. Slow down near the shore and in shallow water, tilting the motor to avoid snagging. Keep away from swimmers and always plan battery capacity, taking weather conditions into account. Never leave the motor running unattended, especially when cooling or under load.
ADDITIONAL PRECAUTIONS: When adjusting the tilt angle, never place your hands between the shaft and the hull of the boat to avoid injury. Always check for debris or fishing line around the propeller before use to avoid loss of power or damage. Avoid going ashore and carefully tilt the motor when there is a risk of contact with the ground. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in damage, injury, or other serious consequences. See the full manual for additional safety and operating instructions.
